Our annual Multicultural Celebration was a vibrant community event that brought together people from over 20 nationalities to share and celebrate their unique cultures. The event featured traditional food, clothing, cultural artefacts, storytelling, music, and dance performances, creating an engaging and educational experience for attendees of all ages.

Healing Arts at Centrala brought together a creative wellbeing workshop, exhibition and film screening exploring themes of identity, migration, belonging and personal resilience. Led by Roo Dhissou, the creative workshop invited participants to create their own personalised pocket object using collage, drawing and craft techniques.

MIAH hosted a special 3-day community arts project where, together, participants created an illuminated Ottoman-style map of Balsall Heath, inspired by traditional Islamic artistic practices, including geometric design, illumination, biomorphic patterns, decorative drawing, and Ottoman-style visual motifs.
