Thursday 25th June 2026 Yardley, Erdington and Acocks Green
No. 11 Arts marked the 100th anniversary of Birmingham's iconic No. 11 bus route with a unique creative journey. At 26 miles long, the No. 11 Outer Circle is the longest urban bus route in Europe.
Using the Overhear app, passengers travelling on the 11A and 11C routes were able to scan a QR code on the bus to listen to poems and stories inspired by the route and the people who had travelled it, past and present.
Along the route, riders had the chance to get off the bus, take part in creative craft activities, and share their own memories and stories of travelling on the No. 11.
