Stories in the Sun - Colmore Summer Fair

Stories in the Sun will celebrate the joy of being creative with family and friends. Joined by bhangra dancer Sohan Kailey, families will have the chance to dance to bhangra beats that celebrate stories through movement.

Everything in the forest is the forest - Photography, Connection & Ecology - A Symposium

The symposium is being shaped around the values of the forest, thinking about how these might be embodied in an event of this nature. We are bringing together different disciplines to exchange knowledge and skills, share a community meal, and create space for collective discussion.

This new body of work has been created by Birmingham based photographer, Maria Reaney. To create the project she worked with six young people from across the city and wider West Midlands region to explore the impact of the cost of living crisis, government policy and living with a disability.
