What We Carry

Participants came together with Legacy Centre of Excellence for a free creative wellbeing workshop exploring the stories, memories and emotional legacies they carried.

Blending portrait photography, conversation and reflective writing, What We Carry created space for participants to pause, connect and think about care, family, identity and what they passed on to others.

Set in a supportive and welcoming environment, this workshop invited people to explore personal and shared experiences through a gentle creative process. No artistic experience was needed, just openness, curiosity and a willingness to reflect. Participants took part in a healing arts circle and an optional creative portrait photoshoot for a public exhibition, and the session included recorded reflections, oral stories and lunch.
