Creativity for Disabled Housebound Folk: Exploring Creativity & Somatics for Expression & Connection
For those who are housebound, or bedbound through illness or disability, accessing creative outlets can be a lifeline. This workshops offers tools to those working with the unique pacing challenges that conditions like ME, CFS, fibromyalgia and other energy limiting health conditions present, to help foster creativity, and connection in a safe and supportive way.
Led by housebound Artist Corinne, who has been producing art from their bed studio for several years, and supported by Zahra from Hearthside Inside CIC, we invite you to join them in co-creating a beautiful, welcoming, safe community space.
This workshop is an invitation to explore movement, body awareness sound, colour and connection at your own pace, exploring what feels right for you, how your body responds to different experiences, and revisioning concepts of creativity.
