For those who were housebound, or bedbound through illness or disability, accessing creative outlets could be a lifeline. This workshop offered tools to those working with the unique pacing challenges that conditions like ME, CFS, fibromyalgia and other energy limiting health conditions present, helping foster creativity and connection in a safe and supportive way.
Led by housebound Artist Corinne, who has been producing art from their bed studio for several years, and supported by Zahra from Hearthside Inside CIC, attendees were invited to join them in co-creating a beautiful, welcoming, safe community space.
This workshop was an invitation to explore movement, body awareness, sound, colour and connection at each person's own pace, exploring what felt right for them, how their body responded to different experiences, and revisioning concepts of creativity.
